South Maui fishing charters
Rascal Charters is a fully outfitted & professionally maintained 43 ft. Bertram sport fishing boat. She departs daily from South Maui’s Ma’alaea Harbor, and trolls at roughly 8-9 knots for mahi-mahi (dorado), ono (wahoo), ahi (tuna), and marlin. Beginners welcome. No fishing license required.
Rascal is powered by twin Caterpillar C7.1 500HP inboard diesel engines with a cruising speed of approximately 25 knots. These engines are quiet, while being EPA Tier 3 compliant with clean exhaust. For those wanting a little time out of the sun, portions of the back deck are shaded, and the main cabin is air-conditioned with a full galley and comfortable seating. Additional seating in front of the flybridge provides guests with awesome views. Rascal is fully equipped with all the gear you’ll need to catch an experience of a lifetime.

Fish On! Mahi Mahi and a beautiful day
Andy and Cap'n Kamal were the best hosts and entertaining experts on all things Hawaiian sports fishing. It was a rescheduled trip and we were happy to be aboard! We caught a 19#, 4' Mahi Mahi, enough for everyone to take home steaks for the bar b q. Couldn't have asked for a better crew, nice weather and some line action.
Fishing Paradise
The Captain and Crew went over board to get us into fish. We landed a 78" spearfish two mahi, and a tuna. WOW!! this is a First Class Charter.
Going back this year and plan on enjoying the day.
