‘She Go’ is a clean, comfortable, fully certified vessel departing from Kihei Boat Landing, on the border between Kihei and Wailea in South Maui.

The crew of She Go believes in sustainable fishing techniques, and offers catch and release options – unless of course, you plan on enjoying a fresh fish dinner while you’re here! Extremely family-friendly and attentive, this crew is one of Maui’s finest.

Boat Features

She Go is a U.S. Coast Guard certified, 26 ft Glacier Bay power catamaran. The boat features:

Twin hulls limit the amount of rock and roll and offer a comfortable ride with minimal “spash zones” on a calm day.
Custom-built seating comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.
Bimini top provides partial shade.
Portable marine toilet (not enclosed)
Freshwater shower for rinsing off the salt.
Convenient ladder and swim step for getting in and out of the ocean, should you decide you want to include a little snorkeling once you’ve had your fill of sportfishing.

Charter Offerings

Sport Fishing:
She Go runs a five-line trolling pattern on her sport fishing charters. You’ll be fishing for ono (wahoo), mahi-mahi (dorado), ahi (yellowfin tuna), aku (skipjack tuna), kawakawa (wavy back tuna), occasionally a’u (marlin). Longer is better when fishing for these fast-swimming pelagic gamefish. 4 hours minimum is required for all fishing trips. 5-6 hours is even better. If conditions allow, it’s possible to reach one of Maui’s fish aggregation devices (FADs) on longer trips.

While no experience is required, sportfishing is recommended for ages 12 and older, since the gear can be pretty unwieldy for younger anglers, and there’s often a lot of waiting involved.

Bottom Fishing:
Bottom fishing is more of a “hands-on” experience, compared to sport fishing. This style of fishing is performed closer to shore (within a couple of miles), drifting over various choice locations along the reef. Some of the best-eating fish include snapper, jacks, and goatfish.

Other Activities
She Go also offers snorkeling, seasonal whale watching (Dec-Apr), sunset cruises, and ash-scattering. Just let us know what you’re hoping to do.

Departure Time & Location

Early morning is recommended for fishing and snorkeling due to Maui’s frequent mid-day tradewinds. Not to mention, fish tend to be more active earlier in the day! A typical departure time is between 6:30 – 7:00am from Kihei’s Small Boat Ramp, in South Maui, 5 minutes from Wailea. A minimum of 5 hours is needed for combination fishing & snorkeling trips. We recommend 6 hours for sport fishing.

Private Charter Rates

4hr – $2,000.00 ($2,192.24 after tax and fees)
5hr – $2,300.00 ($2,521.08 after tax and fees)
6hr – $2,600.00 ($2,849.91 after tax and fees)
Gratuity (15-20% suggested).

A $250 deposit will be charged at the time of booking, refundable up to 7 days prior to the charter. No cancellations within 5 days of the charter unless canceled by the captain due to weather or other unforeseen events. The balance will be charged within 72 hours of the charter.
