I’ve gotten a lot of wild questions over the years ranging from the obvious to the downright bizarre. These are some of the more common questions I get about fishing in Hawaii.
If you start feeling seasick, first and foremost, stay out of the cabin, particularly the head (bathroom). Get fresh air, keep your eyes facing forward and, if possible, watch the horizon. It’s also a good idea to stay on the leeward (downwind) side of the vessel, just in case.
If you’re out on a shared charter the boat will most likely NOT turn around and head back in for you. On a private trip. they can always head back in upon request, but don’t expect any refunds.
